I dropped by MongoDB’s London Headquarters today for their “London Office Hours” event. The format is open: you grab a MongoDB Master and ask whatever’s on your mind. Architecture, indexing, geospatial data, or even basic query questions. The office has a great vibe, and yes, you walk out with free stickers, t-shirts, and assorted goodies.

I got to chat with Derick, Mongo’s resident Geo and PHP expert. He’s presenting on MongoDB’s Geospatial features next week (11th September 2013 at the London MUG), and I’ll be there. I’m hoping to pick up a few things I can fold into our project, and I’m itching to write up a proper post on the topic. I already know some of the Geo features, but I’m expecting to learn a lot more next week. Until then, keep rocking.
