Hi, I'm Tamas.
I've spent 25+ years in software engineering, developer relations and technical training, working across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
Today I lead a developer advocacy team. Before that I led regional developer advocacy at a cloud media platform, running AI workshops and enablement programmes for engineering teams across the region, and before that I was a principal technical instructor teaching NoSQL databases to enterprise teams, led developer advocacy at an open-source AI-workflow platform, and built a training business.
I've given 68 talks and 70 workshops across 33 countries since 2014, on web performance and developer education for most of that time, and on AI, agents, agent harnesses and MCP more recently.

Why this work
Organisations buy tools faster than their people learn them.
A new technology arrives, everyone gets excited, vendors make promises, organisations buy tools, and nothing changes, because nobody learned how to use them.
AI differs in one way that matters. It moves fast enough that the gap between the teams building with it and everyone else widens by the month.
The practical end is the part I enjoy most. Which parts of one person's week an agent should own, the same for a team's workflow, and at the organisation level the transformation work that makes it stick: the sequencing, who goes first, what gets measured, and what everybody else is told.
