For teams

AI fluency workshops

Your team doesn't need another slide deck about AI. They need to sit down, use the tools, and build real skills. That's what these workshops deliver.

I. The approach

How these workshops are different

Hands-on from minute one

Participants use real AI tools throughout. No passive listening. Every concept is immediately practised.

Built around your workflows

Every workshop is customised for your industry, roles, and actual use cases. Not generic content repurposed for the hundredth time.

Delivered by a practitioner

I use AI daily in my own work. Google Developer Expert. 25+ years building software and training teams. I teach what I actually do.

No vendor lock-in

I teach principles and techniques that work across tools and platforms. Your team learns to evaluate and choose, not just follow instructions for one product.

II. Workshop tracks

Three starting points

Choose the track that fits your team. All tracks can be combined or customised.

Foundation

AI fluency fundamentals

For teams starting their AI journey. Build a solid foundation of understanding and practical skills.

  • How large language models actually work, without jargon
  • Prompt engineering techniques that get reliable results
  • Identifying AI opportunities in your daily workflows
  • Risks, limitations, and responsible use
  • Hands-on exercises with real AI tools

Outcome: Participants build working AI workflows for their specific role and leave with a concrete action plan.

Technical

AI for technical teams

For teams ready to build. Go beyond chat interfaces and learn to integrate AI into products and processes.

  • API integration patterns and best practices
  • Building AI-powered workflows and automations
  • RAG, embeddings, vector search, and working with your own data
  • AI agents, agent harnesses, structured outputs, and MCP integrations
  • Evaluation, testing, and production considerations

Outcome: Working prototype, evaluation templates, deployment checklist.

Leadership

AI for leadership teams

For senior leaders and decision-makers. Understand AI well enough to set strategy and evaluate proposals.

  • What AI can and cannot do (cutting through the noise)
  • Evaluating AI vendors and proposals
  • Building an AI adoption roadmap
  • Risk management and governance
  • EU AI Act compliance requirements

Outcome: Participants build an AI opportunity map for their organisation with prioritised next steps.

    Delivery

In person or remote. Fully interactive. Participants leave with skills they can use the same day.

  4. 04

    Follow-up

Summary materials, resource list, and a follow-up session to answer questions that come up after.

V. FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How many people can attend a workshop?

Workshops are sized to the group that makes sense for your context. We'll agree the right setup during the discovery call.

Can workshops be delivered remotely?

Yes. Both in-person and remote delivery are available.

Do participants need technical backgrounds?

No. The Fundamentals and Leadership tracks are designed for non-technical teams. AI for Technical Teams is for developers and technical staff. I adjust the level to your group.

Does this help with EU AI Act compliance?

Yes. The workshops build the practical AI literacy that Article 4 requires. The obligation has applied since February 2025, with national enforcement beginning August 2026. Every programme includes compliance documentation mapping training to the regulation's requirements.

What do participants need to bring?

A laptop with internet access, plus accounts for the AI tools used in the workshop (most have free tiers; tool selection is agreed during the discovery call). Workshop materials and exercises are provided.

Can workshops be customised for our industry?

That's the whole point. Every workshop is built around your specific context, challenges, and workflows. The tracks above are starting points, not rigid templates.

VI. Talk
